3rd Shift Production Operator Position
Summary:
General operation of all RLS equipment/processes, Monitor RLS parts for appearance and ensure that all parts meet specifications to company standards.
Use measuring instruments to ensure quality standards.
Meet production rates set forth by the company and document all production totals, run rates and measurements onto controlled documents.
1.
Major
Responsibilities:
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following functions:
a.
Operators rotate every 2 hours to reduce strain of repetition during a 8 hour shift.
b.
OMS-monitor machine operation and part specifications to company standards, move totes of cut product to next process staging, track piece rate hourly, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
c.
Bender-load hopper and start, monitor the auto load hopper and fill when needed, track part specification and hourly rates, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.

Cup and Trim-load 1 90 degree elbow in to die, cycle machine.
When cycle is finished remove trimmed part making sure trim rings are blown off tooling, reload die and repeat cycle.
Monitor hourly rate total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
Move completed totes to next process staging.
e.
HydroForm- load 2 parts into the dies and cycle machine, remove formed parts at cycle end, reload dies and cycle.
Blow off emulsion, inspect parts and place into tote.
Monitor part specs, total parts produced and hourly rates and record onto visual management boards.
Move completed totes to next process staging.
f.
SpinForm- insert part over spin tooling thru guard, cycle machine using foot switch.
At cycle end rotate part 108 degrees and repeat.
Place formed part into tote for next process.
Monitor part specs and hourly rates, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
Move completed totes to next process staging.
g.
Inspect- place part on to view screen, cycle instant measurement machine.
At cycle end screen will indicate a good or bad part.
Keep good parts separate from scrap parts.
Track piece rate hourly, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
Move completed totes to next process staging.
h.
Etch- place inspected parts on to etch stands, insert stands into cabinet against the stop rails, close door and cycle.
At cycle end inspect laser etch and place in to metal basket.
Full baskets are to be placed on pallet to be annealed.
Track piece rate hourly, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
i.
O-ring- place correct size o-ring on to inserter press footswitch to hold o-ring into place, place annealed part over inserter tip and push footswitch to install o-ring, repeat process on the other end of the part, repeat again if you are o-ringing tee's.
Track piece rate hourly, total parts produced and record onto visual management boards.
Move completed totes to next process staging.
