Responsibilities:
The Production Supervisor should execute and support strategic plans as directed by the Director of Operations and Executive Vice President.
Provides strategic goals and direction to direct reports.
Works effectively with all levels and shifts of management to ensure plant goals are met.
Lead and oversee activities of our day shift manufacturing operation.
Develops reviews and recommends methods of operational improvement.
Involving equipment, systems, corrections, activities, and practices within function areas under their responsibility.
Emphasizes safety in all aspects of the operation through direction and review.
Manages volume and workflow through supervision of team members movement to meet all service, cost and quality requirements providing service to downstream internal and external customers.
Ensures organizational structure by input on hiring and placement, scheduling, work assignments and delegation.
Effectively mentors and develops direct reports and employees through training, establishes objectives and communicates policies and procedures while building employee morale, engagement, motivation, and commitment.
Recommends implements and audits Company policies and procedures designed to identify and minimize inventory loss.
Measures performance compliance and requirements and directs appropriate actions to maintain performance at or above required levels.
Plans, recommends, directs and reviews function areas payroll, expense and operational budget.
Ensures compliance with all national, state and local laws and regulations, such as OSHA, ISO, and UL.
Ensures fairness and consistency through application of policies and procedures.
Maintains appropriate and required records for function areas under his/her responsibility.
Tracks daily performance in order to forecast and makes course corrections as needed to meet targets and objectives.
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory/merchandise movement by monitoring Epicor system applications.
Monitors team members productivity and work quality and manages performance using the tools available including progress summaries, retraining, job performance assessment, performance improvement plan and other disciplinary actions as needed.
Ensures compliance with all safety programs and ensures a strong culture of safety in their functional areas.
Salary info:
$31 - $41 / hr.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
