Travel Agent (Hybrid)

As a Travel Agent, you will provide excellent travel service and aid to travelers while limiting travel expenses.
In this role you will:
Book all aspects of travel including but not limited to air, car, and hotel.
Provide an excellent service experience to the Company travelers, while guiding them to the best travel value.
Maintain reports of all unused tickets and usage; input Waivers and Favors daily into system log; process daily Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) report requirements and regulations; maintain and monitor all travel profiles.
Keep abreast of changes in the travel industry and recommend enhancements as appropriate.
This position is hybrid with a rotation of one week in office, one week at home.
The compensation for this position is starting at $21 per hour based on experience.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 1 year of agency or airline travel experience required 2
years of agency/airline travel reservations experience preferred High school diploma or GED required Strong understanding of domestic and international fare pricing and ticketing Experience with refunds, exchanges, voids, and miscellaneous charge orders (MCOs) Knowledge of at least one airline Computerized Reservation System (CRS) Time management skills Customer service skills Oral and written communications skills Ability to communicate with employees from all organizational levels Why should you join Graybar? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
