HR Programs and Workforce Analytics is expected to both initiate and support operational and strategic initiatives in close partnership with the HR Leadership Team, key stakeholders across the HR department and internal business partners.
This role will provide strategic analytical and technical expertise to HR colleagues across business units, collaborating with colleagues to design and execute standard reports, complex statistical models and other projects designed to provide the business and HR leaders with insights.
This position will utilize and leverage data to assist in making decisions that build strategic advantage, predict early trends and mitigate risk and manage workforce information driving smart decisions in support of short- and long-term organizational goals.
Essential Functions Provides planning, operational, and project management support to the HRLT to achieve the goals of the HR function.
Lead global HR initiatives that transform HR services, processes and policies leveraging industry-standard and best-practice tools aligned with the business strategic objectives.
Evaluate current processes and lead or modify as necessary to accomplish HR objectives.
Streamline activities to create efficient workflow.
Provide project management support for key initiatives, including:
Identify stakeholders of projects and processes and proactively identify implications on their processes, policies, and work as a result of these projects.
Identify change management needs and engage Communications, L&D and HRBP for change management support.
Stage activities with relevant milestones and schedules.
Navigate and influence competing priorities and develop effective contingency plans to achieve the most desirable outcome for the business.
Coordinate work efforts of multiple internal teams and external partners with clear direction and accountabilities.
Monitor progress by maintaining dialogue on work and results.
Present updates and recommendations directly to project sponsors and key stakeholders.
Provide strategic analytical and technical expertise to the HR function including:
Define workforce data needs, validate data quality and refinement of existing data sources.
Develop analysis plans and apply appropriate statistical techniques and/or predictive modeling to answer workforce-related questions.
Develop and maintain effective workforce metrics, creation of creative and compelling metrics.
Minimum RequirementsEducation / Experience / Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field Master's Preferred Experience/Skills:
5 years Project Management experience on significant complex organizational projects with meaningful return and impact to the business.
Proven experience in evaluating and improving processes within a matrix corporate function.
Relevant HR experience, ideally in global or pharmaceutical or medical device product companies, to identify industry best practices and incorporate them into the proposed program.
Strong understanding of business concepts, demonstrated by experience establishing business metrics, stakeholder assessments, and/or work experience in non-HR business function.
Demonstrated experience querying, processing, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets.
Familiarity with strategic planning concepts.
Leadership and collaboration / teamwork skills Ability to influence without authority and navigating complex stakeholder environment and driving for results.
Clear and concise communication skills and capable of flexing presentation style to audience.
Demonstrated expertise in using project management and analysis tools including Microsoft Office Suite.
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
This position works with and has visibility to business functional employees and senior leaders as well as collaborating with other HR members within the organization.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment working conditions and the ability to travel 10% minimum as business needs dictate.
