Assist the Virtual Learning Administrator to carry out his/her duties, greet visitors and direct incoming calls.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a good attitude including excellent customer service characteristics, making the Innovation School an inviting place for visitors.
Must have tolerance and ability to handle tense situations.
Must have excellent human relation skills.
Professionalism to accommodate the situation.
Ability to communicate with staff, students, and community.
Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and community.
Ability to maintain composure.
Must be flexible.
Must possess skills in the use of office equipment including the computer.
Experience working with children.
School experience preferred.
DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE WORK Present a professional decorum at all times Assist Principal wherever needed i.
e.
checking phone messages, making copies, etc.
Answer all incoming phone calls Reinforce Visitor/Security Policy - make sure all students and visitors sign in Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail - Notification of all deliveries Main contact for receiving and distributing information RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize Google calendar Data Collection - Attendance, Transcripts, Narratives, Student Forms, Changes of address.
Maintain attendance databases (students) Assist with the coordination of school events Attend Monthly Virtual Learning Meetings Check emails regularly ADDITIONAL DUTIES Calling parents of students Read email/calendar to check out weekly goals needed by building administrator Greet parents and guests who enter the building and ensure they sign in Help promote a positive culture in the virtual school File and keep forms organized- so they can be easily accessed Responsible for all incoming/outgoing orders Collecting, organizing and submitting invoices, check requests and expense reports to the Business Office Point person to technology helpdesk Maintain a file of staff meeting notes Process space request forms - PMU, Auditorium, Classrooms, Events Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
(also see Physical Demands Checklist, attached) While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and to lift up to 35 pounds.
Specific auditory abilities required include normal conversation, phone conversation and ability to isolate voices in multiple conversations.

Assigned to 260-day work calendar; 8 hours per day vary; compensation and benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life) as provided by the Board of Education.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
