POSITION SUMMARY With guidance from department resources, operates and maintains the major building systems that provide required services and critical utilities to maintain life safety and production.
Ensure that facilities are maintained and conditioned as needed to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and enable the effective and efficient performance of business operations.
Primary Duties Monitor/operateequipmentinordertomaintainand/orimprovetheproper,safe,andefficient functionality of facilities assets.
Monitor andoperatetheautomatedfacilityenergymanagementsystem.
Respondtoalarmsandother urgent facility situations.
Complete all required documentation regarding alarm response.
Performpreventative,corrective,predictiveandbreakdownmaintenanceonequipmentandfacilityas assigned.
Troubleshootwithguidance,mechanicalandelectricalproblems.
Underguidancewillinstall,repairand maintain facility systems.
Useproblem-solving toolstoidentifyrootcauseforrepetitivebreakdownsorotherlosses.
Addresses key issues and communicates with peers.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Highschooldiplomarequired.
AssociatesDegreeintechnical/skilledtradeispreferred.
Relevantmaintenanceexperienceispreferred.
