Title: System Support Technologist Location: MO-Hazelwood Other Locations:
PDS Tech is currently seeking a System Support Technologist for an open position in Hazelwood, MO.
In this role you will:
Interpret and evaluate engineering design for supportability of a single equipment subsystem.
Develop supportability data and enters analysis results into a common database
Assist in identifying support system impacts based on design of hardware and systems.
Assist in developing repair level analysis and/or scheduled maintenance programs.
Assist in supportability modeling simulation and analysis using established tools.
Review equipment usage data to identify failure or consumption trends.
Assist in determining operations/maintenance tasks.
Develop, collect and store supportability data elements for a single customer and single contract type.
Revise data elements based on changes to baseline design.
Assist with developing support plans and identifying initial capability support resource requirements.
Education and/or work
Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience, or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding of USN maintenance philosophy
Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 and/or GEIA-STD-0007
Experience with SLIC
Must be able to work with others, have excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
